Workshop on economic legislation development held

A number of MPs today participated in a workshop on the development of the national economic legislation, its suitability with international legislation and response to international developments.

The workshop was held in cooperation with the Commercial Law Development CLDP of the US Department of Commerce and also attended by representatives from government's agencies, medium and small institutions, civil society organisations and businessmen. 

First Deputy Speaker Ali Al-Aradi stressed taking part in the workshop to contribute to develop the economic legislation and upgrade the parliamentary action. He noted the establishment of Bahrain's comprehensive legislative system to boost the economic activities thanks to the royal leadership's support and the Bahrain Economic vision 2030 that highlights achieving reforms, development and determination to construct a just and prosperous community.
