Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday evening held talks here with founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Klaus Schwab.

The meeting took up arrangements for Egypt's hosting of the WEF for the Middle East in the coming spring along with regional and international economic developments.

President Sisi arrived here earlier on Thursday to attend meetings of the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
