The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu signed yesterday four contracts worth SR526 million, including one agreement to build a new headquarters building for the commission at a cost of SR299 million. Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, President of the Royal Commission, signed the contracts with Beijing Construction Engineering Group and Assad Bulgo Company. The first contract with Beijing included construction of infrastructure facilities around the new headquarters building, an official statement said. “The Royal Commission wanted to develop the central part of Yanbu city considering prospects of its future development as a sprawling business city,” the statement said and highlighted the importance of the first two contracts.
