A delegation representing Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) met here on Monday with Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Mustafa Mohamed who is now visiting Qatar as a member of a trade delegation. The two sides discussed the trade and economic bilateral relations and how best to enhance them in addition to explore prospects of contributions of the Malaysian companies in the projects Qatar is now establishing and the exchange of views and expertise to further enhance trade coooperation between the businessmen of the two countries. They also discussed how to communicate between the Malaysian Embassy In Doha and the QCCI with a view to exchange ideas and data that serve the interest of the two sides. The Malaysian Minister called on the Qatari businessmen to explore investment opportunities available in Malaysia and how best to establish trade bonds with their Malaysian counterparts and called upon Qatar to take part in the international exhibitions Malaysia hosts all the year round in several fields and industries. For his part, the Deputy Chairman of QCCI Board of Directors Mohamed Bin Ahmed Bin Tuwar lauded the unique experience of Malaysia in reviving economy where Malaysia enjoys a distinct political and economic stability asserting that QCCI is fully ready to provide whatever assistance to bring closer viewpoints and enhance joint cooperation between the businessmen of the two sides.
