Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received on Friday a report from Investment Minister Ashraf Salman on the status of agreements signed at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), which was held in Sharm El Sheikh in March 2015.
The 58.4-billion-dollar agreements covered several fields, including electricity, oil and transportation.
In a statement, the Cabinet said this report comes as part of the government's efforts to follow up the status of projects agreed upon at the conference.
Legal and administrative procedures have been finalized for 12 deals, the report said, adding that five other deals are still in the pipeline.
