Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail ordered the immediate installation of main public utilities to the new furniture city in Damietta.
During a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Ismail said the project is a new center of development for Damietta and Nile Delta cities and called for benefiting from the latest global technologies to upgrade the Egyptian furniture industry.
The meeting shed light on a cooperation protocol signed Monday between Banque Misr and Damietta Furniture City Company to offer soft loans of EGP 1.5 billion to small manufacturers in the city.
