Organization of Islamic Cooperation

Member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)'s cash reserves rose to $1.9 trillion in 2013, compared to $1.3 in 2008, a new economic report published Tuesday revealed.
The new report, published by the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), said the OIC member states' ratio of the developing countries' total reserves dropped to 23.5 percent, compared to 26 percent in 2008.
The OIC member states owned 15 percent of the global cash reserves in 2013, the report added.
