Meeting under Prime Minister Sherif Ismail Monday, the ministerial economic committee further probed Egypt's economic reform program. 

The meeting tackled steps to complete national projects and efforts to boost foreign trade with the aim to upgrade industry and hone the competitive edge of home-made products.

The committee agreed in principle upon the project of developing Alexandria Tram. 

Taking the necessary legal action to assign the expansion works and raising the efficiency of the sewage treatment plant in Abu Rawash was approved.
