Minister of Public Business Sector Ashraf el Sharqawi held on Wednesday a meeting with the board of the Metallurgical Industries Company (MIC).

The meeting came as part of efforts exerted by the minister to follow up the performance of public business enterprises.

Sharqawi stressed the need for finishing under-construction projects as soon as possible, including a project to develop production lines of the Egyptian iron and steel company.

He further called for reaching an agreement with partners to make use of El Nasr Automotive Manufacturing Company.
