Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Saturday with Sudanese Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Adam to discuss cooperation.
The meeting was attended by governor of Blue Nile State Malik Agar, Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt Abdel-Mahmoud Abdel-Halim and the Egyptian ministers of agriculture and irrigation.
About 100,000 feddans were allocated to the Egyptian-Sudanese Agricultural Integration Company in the Blue Nile state, Egypt's agriculture minister said.
At least 20,000 feddans were cultivated, the minister added.
