Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab ordered on Thursday forming a work group tasked with the development of Lake Nasser in cooperation with ministries concerned.
According to Mahlab's directives, the group would set a time table for suggested projects to maintain the reservoir located in southern Egypt.
Mahlab took the decision during a ministerial meeting on the lake. Ministers of planning, local development, petroleum, housing, environment, irrigation, agriculture and tourism attended the meeting.
The suggested project includes tightened security measures and providing an integrated plan in coordination with the police to maintain safety of the man-made lake.
