Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Kabil conferred on Saturday with members of Port Said Investors Society on mechanisms of upgrading the industrial sector in the governorate and impediments facing development in the industrial and investment sectors.

Port Said Governor Adel al Ghadhban, Head of the industrial committee at the parliament Ahmed Samir, parliament deputy speaker Suleiman Wahdan, Board Chairman of Port Said Trade Chamber and the investors society members attended the meeting.

Following the meeting, an exhibition under the name of "Made in Port Said" will be inaugurated. The exhibition is organized by Port Said governorate. The minister also inspected a new laboratory for the import and export authority at Port Said Harbor.

Also, Kabil inspected construction works at an industrial complex set up by the ministry as part of an initiative under the name of "Your Factory is ready with licenses". The minister also inspected a number of factories in Port Said and the Industrial Development Center
