The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) has dismissed reports about the increase of underground metro's ticket to 4 pounds instead of 2.

In a statement on Tuesday, IDSC said it contacted the Ministry of Transport which, for its part, affirmed that such reports are bare of truth.

It said no increase in the ticket price at the current stage and that the ministry is still committed to subsidized tickets after the increase of fuel prices last month.
