Housing Minister Moustafa Madbouli held meetings with a number of investors to promote tourism projects in New Alamein city Wednesday.
The plan for New Alamein should help achieve integrated development in the city through tourism, agricultural, industrial and trade projects, as well as scientific research, Madbouli said.
The meetings are meant to answer inquiries of investors and put them in the picture about incentives Egypt will be offering in the first phase of the city, the minister further said.
He touched upon cooperation between the Housing Ministry and investors, noting that the main goal is to turn New Alamein into an international tourist destination.
The plan is meant to achieve development and create numerous jobs for youth, while guaranteeing the right of investors to make profit.
The businessmen said they are ready to pump investments into projects in New Alamein. They are willing to build 18 hotels in this distinguished area.
