Housing Minister Mostafa Madbouli asserted on Sunday that the cabinet approved a draft law concerning compensating contracting companies after recent economic decisions.

In a press conference after the cabinet’s meeting, Madbouli said the bill includes four articles. 

A high committee will be formed to tackle the compensations in which it is planned to finalize all required measures within the next two months, he said.

He added that the committee will include the ministers of housing, transport, defense, electricity, planning and finance as well as representatives from Administrative Control Authority, Federation for Construction and Federation of Egyptian Chambers.
