Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said the government faces major economic problems, especially as the infrastructure needs pumping huge investments into it.

In statements to reporters on the fringe of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), Ismail said the education sector for example needs funds to establish new classes to reduce the number of students at classes.

It also needs improving teachers' conditions to put an end to private lessons phenomenon.

He also referred to the transport and railway sectors that face major challenges.
