Red Sea Harbors Authority decided on Monday to close Ain el Sokhna and Sharm el Sheikh harbors due to bad weather.
The Transport Ministry released a statement early Monday announcing the closure of Adabiya, Port Tawfiq and Zaytiyat harbors.
Media Spokesman of the Red Sea Harbors Authority Abdel Rehim Mostafa said wind velocity reached 30 knots and waves reached three to four meters high.
The harbor's operation room will coordinate with the various harbors to secure the safety of maritime navigation.
