Riyadh - MENA
Egyptian Ambassador in Riyadh Nasser Hamdy said Friday that relations linking Egypt and Saudi Arabia would see a new leap in cooperation especially in the military and security domains.
Speaking to MENA, the ambassador said the two Arab neighbors are getting closer to overcome current challenges and terrorism.
The participation in the North Thunder military exercise in Saudi Arabia reflects keenness on the security of the Gulf states as a parcel part of Egypt's, Nasser said.
On Sunday, the Egyptian-Saudi Coordination Council will hold a one-day meeting to discuss cooperation between the two sides, the diplomat added.
Egypt's delegation in the meeting will include the ministers of international cooperation, investment and petroleum, he said.
