Damietta port received seven ships over the past 24 hours, the Media Center for Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, there were specifically four container ships and three cargo vessels.

Three container vessels and five cargo ships left the port.

The total number of docked ships in the port is 20 in addition to seven ships in the anchorage area waiting for entrance procedures to be completed, the statement added.
