Damietta Port received nine ships over the past 24 hours, the Media Center for Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Saturday.

They included four container ships and five cargo vessels, the statement added.

Also, two container ships and six cargo vessels left the harbor, according to the statement. 

Meanwhile, 32 ships anchored outside the port until finalizing their entry procedures, it indicated.

The grain and cereal silo is currently holding 77,996 tons of wheat, the statement said.
