Damietta Port received on Monday eight vessels, four container ships and four other cargo ships, the media center of the Damietta port authority said.

Meanwhile, up to 12 container ships and five freighters left the port.

There are 24 vessels outside the port waiting to finalize their entry documents.

The port's grain and pulses silo is currently holding 211 tons of wheat, the center added.
