Damietta Port on Sunday received 13 vessels including five container ships and seven cargo ships, spokesman for Damietta Port Authority Mamdouh el Sheity said in a statement.

Also, four container ship five two cargo ships left the port, he added.

There are 22 ships outside the port waiting to end their proceedings, the spokesman said.

He added that the grain silo at the port contains a stock of 50,000 tons.
