The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said on Thursday that Egypt's railways achieved revenues of 118.8 million pounds in November 2015 compared to 93.4 million in the same period of 2014.
In its monthly bulletin, the CAPMAS said the number of train passengers increased from 17.2 million in November 2014 to 17.6 million in November 2015.
The amount of commodities carried by Egypt's trains recorded 363,200 tons in November 2015 versus 335,900 in November 2014, the statement added.
