Jordan's Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supplies thanked Egypt Wednesday over its approval for granting Jordanian exporting companies a temporary registration certificate.
The approval came as part of the close and intensive follow up the Jordanian ministry has made to ensure the availability of the Jordanian goods to the Egyptian market, the ministry's spokesman Yanal Barmawi said Wednesday.
The temporarily registration is expected to facilitate the flow of Jordanian exports into the Egyptian market.
Jordan's of Industry, Trade, and Supplies Minister Maha Ali held bilateral talks with her Egyptian counterpart Tarek Qabil to underline the importance of such regard.
The decision will be applied only to Jordanian exporters with registered trademarks.
The agreement was reached on the sidelines of the three-day Jordan International Exhibition for Chemical Industries, which kicked off earlier on Tuesday.
The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Jordan hit 650 million dollars in 2015 against 661.3 million dollars in 2014.
