Alexandria and Dekheila ports are closed on Saturday for the second day due to bad weather, wind velocity and high waves, the Alexandria Harbor Authority said.

In press statements, Acting Head of Alexandria Harbor Authority General Fathi Taha said the two harbors were closed to ensure safety of vessels and navigation movement.

Alexandria has been hit by New Year gale, expected to last for four days.
