Alexandria and Dekheila ports were closed on Thursday due to bad weather and strong winds.

Spokesman for the Alexandria Port Authority Reda Ghandour said the decision was made to maintain the safety of maritime navigation.

Also, an emergency plan was put in force to to drain water from streets after the governorate was showered with rain.
