Spokesman for the Alexandria Port Authority Reda Ghandour said Tuesday Alexandria and Dekheila ports are closed for the second day in a row due to bad weather.

The decision was made for the safety of maritime navigation due to strong winds, high waves and heavy rains, Ghandour said. 

For days now, Alexandria has been hit by heavy rains accompanied by strong winds and low degree temperature, forcing municipal authorities to be on boots to avoid any accident and accumulation of rain water.
