The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani on Sunday opened the GCC State's Secured Communication Office in the Saudi city of Al Zahran, in presence of a number of military and defense officials from the GCC Member States.
In a speech on the occasion, Al-Zayani, expressed deep pride in the opening of the secured communications office, stressing that the GCC joint action in all vital fields will always enjoy the focus and continuous keenness in implementation of the directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries, as well as the decisions of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the ministers of defense of the Council's member states.
He explained that the office will contribute to conducting and maintaining secured communications between the ministries of defense, interior and foreign affairs with the General Secretariat of the council, in the framework of the countries endeavors to unify the communication systems between the Member States.
