Abu Dhabi - WAM
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, ADX, the region's leading financial market will host its annual forum for Abu Dhabi’s listed companies on Tuesday, October 24th, at the Rosewood Hotel on Al Maryah Island.
The forum is part of ADX’s objectives towards strengthening and developing its strategic partnerships with listed companies, as well as keeping partners up-to-date with the latest services and mechanisms offered by ADX. Later in the year, ADX will organise another forum targeting listed companies in other emirates.
ADX’s Listed Companies Affairs Department will deliver a presentation on the latest digital services that have been developed for listed companies. These services have been designed to meet the requirements of disclosure and transparency and ensure the prompt delivery of information to shareholders and investors within a transparent governance framework and sound business practices. This comes as part of ADX’s commitment to support the Abu Dhabi Plan, develop the financial services sector in the emirate, and diversify the channels and methods of communication with customers by offering leading digital platforms and solutions.
Representatives from ADX’s Clearing and Settlement Department, Market Operations and Surveillance Department, and Information Technology Department will also deliver a comprehensive presentation on the full range of services and updates being made available to listed companies in particular and investors in general. These services aim to provide opportunities to invest savings and funds in securities, ensure soundness and accuracy of transactions, as well as derive interaction between demand and supply.
During the forum, ADX will also honour the first five listed companies that disclosed their financial statements within the set period for the second and third quarters of this year.
