Seven ships - four general cargo and three container ships - sailed into Damietta Port on Thursday, Port Authority spokesman Mamdouh el Sheety said.

Also, six ships - one container and five general cargo vessels - left the port, Sheety added in statements.

Five vessels are waiting at the port's anchorage area to complete entry procedures.
