Sixty-eight ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, carrying a total cargo of 2.719 million tons.

Spokesman at the Suez Canal Authority said the south-bound convoy included 22 vessels carrying 1.155 million tons.

The north-bound convoy included 46 vessels carrying 1.564 million tons.
