Proceedings of the 88th regular session of the Arab League kicked off at the league headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday.

Arab League assistant secretary general for administrative and financial affairs Adnan Esa Al-Khodeir said following the meeting the participants discussed the stances of the Arab countries contribution to the League next year which is estimated at 64 million dollars, pointing out that 60 percent of the member states paid their quotas.

He pointed out that the permanent committee for administrative and financial affairs agreed to contract with two figures from Egypt and Saudi Arabia to chair two Arab League missions abroad and also discussed the possible early retirement for the league employees.
