A ship sailed into Alexandria port on Friday with 5,000 tons of liquefied butane gas on board, Alexandria Port Chairman Abdel Qader Darwish said.

The ship, coming from Algeria, was unloaded smoothly after finalizing customs' measures, he added.

The container and truck movement is increasing as a result of using new electronic systems in loading and unloading goods, he asserted.
