Forty vessels transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, carrying a total cargo of around 2 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 17 ships carrying 703,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying a total cargo of 1.3 million tons.
