Thirty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of 1.495 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 15 vessels carrying 666.000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 21 ships carrying 829.000 tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
