1,600 cattle heads arrived to Safaga port

As many as 1,600 cattle heads arrived to Safaga port Tuesday coming from Sudan, Spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rahim Mostafa said.

The cargo will be checked at the veterinary quarantine before selling them on markets ahead of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, Safaga harbor received a passenger ferryboat with 1,290 Egyptian workers on board.

In Nuweiba, a ferryboat will sail into the harbor later in the day with 938 passengers on board.
