President Vladimir Putin on Thursday said his government will not revisit privatisations, in an apparent bid to calm investors after the arrest of a billionaire sparked fears of a state-orchestrated asset grab.
"There won't be any mass revision of the results of privatisation," Putin told an investment conference in Moscow.
Earlier this month billionaire Vladimir Yevtushenkov was placed under house arrest and a Russian court seized shares in oil firm Bashneft in which the tycoon has a controlling stake.
