A South African court on Tuesday sentenced the mastermind behind a rightwing extremist plot to kill former president Nelson Mandela and drive blacks out of the country to 35 years in jail,  the prosecution said. \"Those who got 35 years are five in total including Mike du Toit,\" Medupe Simasiku, spokesman for the National Prosecution Authority, told AFP after a High Court judge handed sentences to 20 white supremacists for a botched 2002 plot to overthrow the post-apartheid government.
