A Libyan Al-Qaeda suspect arraigned in a New York court on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to charges related to the 1998 bombings of US embassies in East Africa. Anas al-Libi, whose given name is Nazih Abdul Hamed al-Raghie, appeared in court wearing a black sweater and grey jogging pants. He was captured in Libya on October 5 by US commandoes and brought to New York at the weekend after being questioned on a US Navy warship.
