The United States and Turkey are to send a joint military team to Ankara next week for follow-up talks on fighting Islamic militants, a US official said Thursday.
Two senior US envoys "discussed several measures to advance the military line of effort against ISIL" in the Turkish capital on Thursday and noted "that a joint military planning team will visit Ankara early next week to follow up in military-to-military channels," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.
