An Israel air strike Sunday on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights killed a Hezbollah military commander and five fighters, a source close to the Lebanese Shiite movement said.
The dead included Mohammed Issa, a Hezbollah commander responsible for its Syrian and Iraqi operations, as well as Jihad Mughniyeh, the son Imad Mughniyeh, a top Hezbollah operative killed in a 2008 car bombing in Syria which was blamed on Israel, the source told AFP.
