Egyptian prosecution freed two high-ranked Muslim Brotherhood officials on Friday, state television confirmed. Saad al-Katatmi, chief of the Freedom and Justice Party – which is the political arm of the Brotherhood – and Rashad Bayoumi, who is deputy head of the Islamist movement were reportedly taken into custody on Wednesday, following the ouster of president Mohammed Morsi. Supporters of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood rallying in Cairo cheered when the news of the duo\'s release was announced over a tannoy system.
