The chief of the African Union on Monday arrived in Burkina Faso for urgent talks on the country's political transition following the ouster of veteran president Blaise Compaore.
Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the Mauritanian president currently holding the AU chairmanship, is due to hold talks at the airport in Ouagadougou with Lieutenant-Colonel Isaac Zida, the officer the army installed as the head of the west African nation after Compaore fled.
