You don't like discussing your beliefs in a public forum. If someone makes fun of your religion or philosophy, speak up. You don't have to make a dramatic statement. Simply say you find these remarks offensive and ask to be treated more respectfully. Others will admire your courageous stance. You may not realise it, but many people in the organisation have been uncomfortable with this dynamic for a long time. You're the only one brave enough to put an end to it.
