A misuse of power will come back to haunt you. Do everything in your power to treat others fairly. It may be necessary to go the extra mile for someone who cannot advocate for themselves. A few will accuse you of giving preferential treatment, but that's not the case. When you're faced with a situation where a person cannot access resources because of a disability or illness, you must take action. It's a different matter if a friend asks for a favour simply because they want to save time.
