It's important to be honest about a friend's shortcomings. While you yearn for support in key areas, it simply isn't forthcoming. You'll have to meet these challenges alone. Don't take out your disappointment on your partner. Everyone has blind spots, including you. While you're very caring and conscientious, you're not terribly spontaneous. This can cause boredom to set into relationships. Instead of trying to correct your loved one, seek to be a better companion.
