It's important to be cooperative with colleagues. You may not like certain people at work, but that's no excuse to impede their progress. When you're asked to collaborate with somebody or give them materials, be gracious. You don't have to become best friends, but you should be helpful. Nobody will accuse you of being hypocritical just for doing your job well. You may not realise it, but your job prospects rely on your ability to be a team player.
