Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday stressed that the world nations are strongly opposed to the hegemonic and militaristic policies of the US, and described the Obama administration as the most hated government in the world. \"Today, US rulers are the most hated in the world,\" Ahmadinejad said in Iran\'s Eastern city of Birjand on Tuesday. He underlined the importance of the developments underway on the international scene, and noted, \"Americans have well-understood that a huge revolution is going to be happen in the world.\" Ahmadinejad further cautioned that enemies attempt to suppress and derail the ongoing developments in the Islamic states through a very complicated web of military bodies and structures. Since the beginning of 2011, a wave of revolutions and anti-government uprisings has swept the region from the Middle-East to the North of Africa. The United States and certain other western countries have adopted a double-standard approach towards the popular protests against the dictatorial regimes in the region. Political observers believe that people\'s uprisings in Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, Jordan, Yemen and Libya are the result of growing \"Islamic awakening\" in the Middle-Eastern countries.
