"UAE Nation's Identity and Culture in the Year 2030 Conference" is slated on 11 January 2012 to explore ways to explore ways to promote and protect the country's national identity and highlight initiatives that would establish the identity and its values and develop the community accordingly, according to Ali Al Kamali, chairman of the organizing committee of the event. The event's program includes focus on goals and aspirations of the country's people in the present and the future enlightening a triumphant breakthrough towards achieving the national goal of maintaining and strengthening the national identity and the fight the challenges threatening it, according to the Datamatix, organizers of the forthcoming event. By shedding light on the future, the Summit illuminates key issues affecting national identity and culture of UAE and exchange views on ways to strengthen and enhance it. The event aims to present the close interconnectedness of the issues of identity and globalization and the uneven and contradictory impact that the former has on the latter, Datamatix said on its website. Discussions will include National identity and cultural challenges in the time of Globalization with a future look into Country Master Plan and Road Map - Beyond 2030. Panel discussions will include the Needs of the 2030 UAE Generation, Learned lessons from global histories, maintaining, promoting and disseminating the national identity, providing general cultural norms to promote better children education practices and upgrading teaching methods and transforming the UAE's community into a knowledge society.
