A press conference will be held Monday in Beijing opera house in presence of Egypt's Ambassador to China Magdy Amer to announce the details of the celebration of the Egyptian-Chinese cultural year 2016.

The activities of the event will include exhibitions, cultural seminars and concerts in addition to training workshops in the different cultural and art fields.

The Egyptian embassy in China hosted a big exhibition on Friday for paintings and art works in cooperation with a host of Chinese painters and artists who love Egyptian culture.

In his speech, Amer said that this year will witness the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between both countries.
